Ledger Stem Rig

As you can see from the rig drawing the idea of the system is to present your bait above the bed or weed.

This rig above shows a ball popper just next to the bait , this can be added as an extra and is not always needed.

This zander rig can be used in conjunction with a float or fished as a running ledger.

Another advantage of this rig is that it offers less resistant to a zander as it takes the fish.

Zander are shy , so the best size trebles are size 8.
