Roswell is a prime zander water.
In 1988 Roswell produced the British record Zander of 18lb 8oz which put this venue on the map for those predator anglers, but alias since then only small doubles have raised their heads. Time will tell if this water is to hold the British record again. |

| Coombe Country Park - West Midlands |

Closing for angling from March 14 to June 16.
Angling on the lake is from two banks. The public bank has 100 pegs and is open all season whilst the Lindley bank, accessible only to season ticket holders.
Specimen zander and pike hunters have been targeting Coombe for many years but have really been reaping rewards in recent seasons. The average size is generally around 8lbs with fish to over 10lbs regularly being taken. This makes Coombe Pool the place to go for a realistic chance of catching a truly massive zander. |
